Steven Weijs (University of British Columbia) gave a workshop on presenting research at the Student & Early Career Scientist Conference. This workshop covers tips and tricks on how to lure people into your scientific posters and presentations using fun, engaging, and interactive methods. Communicating science is not only important in order to share your research with scientists from other fields but also to engage and inform the public. Students and early career scientists should gain knowledge on how to put together and present a winning presentation that will leave lasting impressions on listeners.
